Wonderful review Steve. Are you hoping to develop your points about the "family" aspect in relation to the afterlife further? I really hope you are able to work this into a monograph and/or at least some articles.
Also, very nice timing regarding the MAR-SBL call for papers. I'm meeting with the Temple grad students tomorrow and will urge them to consider submitting something.
