“Myrtis” Brought to Life…

Myrtis

This 11-year-old ancient Athenian girl, given the name “Myrtis,” has been reconstructed from her skeleton (her intact skull and teeth), thus bringing her back to life from the 5th century BCE.  Myrtis apparently died of typhoid fever in Athens in the year 430.
