U2's Bono to be Knighted!

The BBC is reporting an announcement by the British Embasy in Dublin that the Queen will be knighting Bono in Dublin early in the new year.

The act will honor "his services to the music industry" and "his humanitarian work." An official letter to U2 from Tony Blair reads, "You have tirelessly used your voice to speak up for Africa."
